Paint Your Dungeon
Most roguelikes feature You as a player, and it is hard to win. Here, you are the dungeon master and paint the dungeon. You place rooms, stairs, items and monsters. But your player character is controlled by the computer; it walks around, fights and quaffs potions as it sees fit.
How to play
Click a tile in the list on the left. Click again to rotate. Drag it to the place you want. While dragging, red indicates that it does not fit, yellow indicates that it does.
If there is nowhere to place additional tiles or you do not like the tiles you get, teleport!
If you need any spoilers, write me ;) !

I can’t believe it took me so long to get back to your message. :O This is an amazing concept with a very nice execution! I’m very proud you feature my sprites in the game. :)
Just played this game from the Santa Game Jam, it is truly a wonderful concept and it looks beautiful too! Great work! May I ask what engine you used? I find it interesting seeing what engines are out there.
Thanks for your nice words!
I don't like most engines because they are big and slow (in development and loading, that is), so I wrote the game from scratch in HTML5. I tried to separate some "Engine" part from the "Game" part, but gave up at some point. The downside is that it does not work perfectly with touch because I cannot test that very well...
I added a downloadable version to the page so you can look at the source more easily.
Edit: Well, I just found Bitsy. I like Bitsy. But I don't think I could have made PYD in Bitsy :(
Loved your game! It's so creative! :D
Thanks for the praise! Great that you like it!
